Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) (HTM) has finally opened its first exclusive service center in Malaysia to better serve its customers here. The centre was officially opened about 2 weeks ago and to commemorate the event, HTM began taking pre-orders for its Mate 7 Premium phone on the very next day on its Vmall.my online sales portal.

Although HTM has had four flagship stores as well as its online sales portal since last year, the Huawei Customer Service Centre is the first; as it had previously engaged local vendors to act as Authorized Service Centres. The center is located at Lot 1.03 and 1.04 on the 1st Floor of the Podium Block of Plaza Berjaya. This is just a stone’s throw away from Malaysia’s IT mecca, that is Low Yat Plaza.

With renewed focus on after-sales, the center will act as a two-way channel for HTM to communicate with its customers and it believes this will help to enhance various aspects of its brand in the long run. The center will also help to ensure that accurate after-sales information and updates are handed directly from the brand to its customers.

HTM also announced a few new initiatives that it plans to introduce this year to strengthen its sales channels and to provide a strong ownership experience for its customers throughout their product lifecycle. The initiatives include the opening of more exclusive service centers, as well increasing the number of Authorized Collection Points from the current 17 to 100 centers nationwide, before the end of the year. HTM is also planning to introduce a door-to-door pick-up and delivery service, and this will happen before the end of the first quarter.

The day after the launch, HTM also unveiled the pre-order page for the Premium version of the Huawei Mate 7 (that it introduced last November).
