Apple Malaysia just updated its online store to include prices of the newly-announced iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The iPhone SE has two variants, priced at RM1,949 and RM2,449 respectively, while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro starts at RM2,699 for the 32GB WiFi-only model, going up all the way to RM4,699 for the 256GB WiFi + Cellular model.
We’re still unclear when exactly will Apple sell the iPhone SE, since we’re not in the official list to get it in ”early April”, but Apple did promise that it’ll be available in over 100 countries by the end of May, and all four Malaysian carriers have more or less confirmed that they’ll be carrying the iPhone SE. I’ve initiated a support chat earlier today and as expected, the representative didn’t know (or didn’t want to reveal) when exactly Malaysia is getting this device. In any case, it looks like we will be getting all four color options: Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Gray.

As for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, you can already buy it here in Malaysia officially. Traditionally, due to the relatively lower demand compared to iPhones, Malaysia tends to get the new iPads sooner than the new iPhones. This iPad Pro has the traditional, 9.7-inch display size like the good ol’ iPad (Air), but its display supports the active stylus called the Apple Pencil. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a larger 4GB RAM, while the 9.7-inch model only has 2GB. However, the 9.7 incher does have one of the best cameras on a tablet yet — it uses the same camera as the iPhone 6s (12MP), and the 12.9 incher uses an 8-megapixel type. 9.7-inch iPad Pro also comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Gray, but the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has all but the Rose Gold option.
